Bon Appetit Magazine: May 2012 - Yakitori Sachsmo
What happens when Bon Appetit's resident food fanatic, Adam Sachs, re-creates a Tokyo-style yakitori joint in a one-bedroom apartment in New York City? Smoke, fire, and plenty of sake. I was there for two nights, documenting all the delicious madness (and enjoying a few of the house specialties)...

PDN 30 2012
I am honored and proud to announce that I've been selected as one of the PDN 30 New Photographers to Watch in 2012!
I've closely followed the PDN 30 for more years than I care to admit, so to be included this year is a bit of a dream come true. A huge thank you to all of the friends and colleagues who helped to make it possible, and congrats to all the other photographers in this year's 30.
The issue is out now, and here's a link to all the work online at PDN:

Mom's Christmas Cookies
Just a quick post left over from the holidays - a few of the 12 kinds (!) of Christmas cookies my mother made this year. It's almost a holiday tradition to go this overboard, and I think we finally agreed that it is utterly and completely ridiculous.
